The Bench Portfolio

Mechanical restoration, executed to factory standard.

We reject the doctrine of disposable machinery. We diagnose, clean, calibrate, and preserve small engines with absolute respect for their original engineering.

Service 01

Carburetor Reconstruction

Restoring the precise stoichiometry of physical combustion.

Stale fuel varnishes precision jets, rendering fine mechanical assemblies unresponsive. We completely disassemble the fuel system, utilizing ultrasonic clean cycles to reach internal galleries, before rebuilding with ethanol-resistant seals.

Included Operations
  • • Ultrasonic chemical solvent bath
  • • Jet inspection & mechanical reaming
  • • Idle speed & fuel mixture calibration
  • • Float needle & gasket replacement

Service 02

Compression & Mechanical Alignment

Correcting the vital tolerances that govern operational life.

An engine without compression is simply a collection of heavy metal components. We measure cylinder wear, hone walls to restore crosshatch pattern, replace compromised piston rings, and lap valve seats back into airtight seating.

Included Operations
  • • Compression & leak-down diagnostic testing
  • • Valve clearance measuring & mechanical shimming
  • • Cylinder wall honing & ring clearance verification
  • • Crankshaft runout and endplay analysis
Service 03

Obsolete Machine & Vintage Tinkering

Reviving mechanical artifacts when parts catalogs fail.

When standard replacement parts do not exist, we use manual mills and lathes to recreate obsolete mechanical linkages, restore stripped threads, and adapt modern structural materials into old housings.

Included Operations
  • • Thread restoration and helicoil installation
  • • Custom linkage fabrication
  • • Obsolete mechanical modification and retrofitting
  • • Structural welding & micro-brazing of cast parts

Describe Your Machine

Please state the machinery type, known symptoms, and your goals. We assess repair viability before confirming physical space in the shop.

"Mechanical integrity is not a performance. It is a slow, methodical alignment of physical reality."
